Giselle looking out at Willsboro Point on Lake Champlain
Trail is on Route 22 South in Willsboro approximately 4 miles in from exit 33. There is no sign to mark the trail-head. It is a pull off on the left side of the road with a small parking space. It is directly across from a large sign for Long Pond Cabins.
This trail is on private property. The owners have given the public access to the hiking trail. Please respect the rules. Stay on the trail. Only hiking is allowed, no bikes ATV’s etc. No fires and no camping.
The trail is approximately 1.5 miles long and takes about an hour to reach the summit. The first part of this trail follows an old logging road and is easy to follow. At the end of the logging road the trail narrows and veers to the left with a moderate incline up the mountain.

The last 15 minutes of the hike is fairly steep. There are several trails near the end. If you take the trail to the right it is steeper and has a bit of rock scrambling but it has a nice lookout before the summit.

Continuing straight is an easier trail with no views. Near the top you will come to a fairly level clearing. You will have a clear view of Lake Champlain and the VT skyline.
